The last few days I spent quite a bit of time looking through the portfolio’s of photographers outside of the wedding industry. I regularly find myself looking in other area’s for inspiration and am always in awe of how many photographers there are out there creating amazing images. While I was jumping around from site to site I came across an interview of the late Henri Cartier-Bresson by Charlie Rose. If you get a chance, check it out and notice how Henri Cartier-Bresson explains composition… “satisfaction to the eye”. So simple.

January 11, 2008Ceremony Magazine recently hit the stands. It’s jam packed with amazing photography, elaborate details, and all the info needed to plan an amazing wedding. Lisa + Matt’s wedding is featured in the Orange County issue and there’s also 4 other pages of my photography. If you want to see what other images of mine are in it, you’ll just have to run down and get your own copy!

January 6, 2008I spent New Year’s in Bend with my family and it was nice to get away from the rain for a few days. Someone told me it’s rained everyday the last 2 months in Portland? If anyone in California wants to trade homes for a week or two, let me know
